Thinking Literature – Thinking Change AMU Erasmus+ BIP 2025

This year’s edition of BIP “Thinking Literature – Thinking Change” brought together participants from several countries for a programme combining online seminars, in-person workshops, and city-based activities. The school explored how literature — within different cultural frameworks – can inspire change, broaden sensitivity, and cultivate critical thinking.

The online component introduced global perspectives on identity, storytelling, and literary circulation. The on-site classes at Collegium Maius focused on creative and interpretive practices, including theatre, visual storytelling, eco-literature, poetry, music, and embodied reading. Informal activities in the city complemented the academic sessions and fostered community building.

The programme concluded with the international conference “Literature as an Art of Thinking,” where BIP+ participants presented their work alongside scholars from partner universities. The final discussions confirmed that thinking through literature remains a vital method for understanding and responding to contemporary transformations.
